Route description Circular route to the Buchbergwarte lookout post
We will start at the railway station in Neulengbach, and cross Rathausplatz to Kirchenplatz, before heading along Ulmenhofstrasse (on the right) to Almersbergstrasse. We will head uphill to Buchberggasse and follow the signs to Buchberg. On the way back, we will follow the blue hiking route (on the right) and keep to the paved road. After the first few houses, we will take a sharp right towards Neulengbach (red route). Via Grillenhofstrasse, Almersbergstrasse, Austrasse and Egon-Schiele- Strasse, we will head towards Neulengbach Castle, and after a slight ascent, turn left onto Weinheberstrasse. We will continue uphill, along Postgasse, and back to Rathausplatz
and the railway station.
