Krupp City Museum

The krupp town museum BERNDORF shows the history of Berndorf from a farming village to a town that was essentially shaped by the Krupp family.

The museum houses a permanent exhibition on Arthur Krupp, his family, his work and local history of the region. The history of the Krupp family of industrialists from Essen began in Berndorf in 1843. They founded the Berndorf metal goods factory and so began the rise of Berndorf cutlery, which soon became a symbol of dining culture.
