Gasthof Skilitz

Gasthof Skilitz is located at the exit of the Helenental valley in Siegenfeld. As small and inconspicuous as this village may seem - especially from a culinary point of view, the community near Baden should not be scorned. For more than 50 years, the Skilitz family has been spoiling locals and out-of-towners with fine inn cuisine. It is the Austrian specialities that attract guests time and again. The cooked baby beef from Heiligenkreuz is expertly prepared in the inn. A crunchy creamy vegetable and parsley potatoes round off the dish perfectly. An old acquaintance promises an intense taste experience: roast pork with sauerkraut and bread dumplings. Theme weeks around beef, game and goose are among the seasonal highlights.

Maximum enjoyment in the meadow guest garden

Gasthof Skilitz no longer has anything to prove. The family business has found its place on the culinary map of the Vienna Woods. But the innkeepers Martina and Alfred Skilitz are not resting on their laurels. They are always tweaking the down-to-earth inn classics. New things are tried out. And they expand their own product range: bratwurst, black pudding, lard, schnapps, syrups and fruity jams are homemade and guests like to take them home. Before that, however, a pleasurable stay in the Kaiserstüberl, Ebenbergstüberl or charming guest room is on the programme. In summer, the meadow garden is usually the preferred choice.
