Bad Vöslau train station
Train stationDescription
Since 2013 the station Bad Vöslau presents itself modern and barrier-free. Three elevators were retrofitted and the platform edges were raised. In order to offer passengers the best possible service, waiting berths, automatic train destination displays and a guidance system for the blind were upgraded. Almost 400 parking spaces at the Park & Ride facility and space for 330 bicycles in the Bike & Ride area round off the comfort requirements of rail passengers.
Bad Vöslau station is connected to the Südbahn railway network and therefore serves regional ÖBB trains. Trains of the rapid transit lines S3 and S4 also run on the three platforms. Not far from the station building you can change to the connected bus lines.
Vöslau thermal bath
The thermal spa of Bad Vöslau is 15-minute walk from the station. The imperial ambience of the outdoor pool is permanently noticeable, just like the vitalizing effect of the mineral water in one of the two pools. The nostalgic flair and the dreamlike scenery offer moments of relaxation just like in the days of the summer resort.
Thermal spa region "Burgundy of Austria
With the wine law, which came into being in 1985, the wine-growing areas of Guntramsdorf and Bad Vöslau were merged. About 2500 hectares of vineyards extend over many catchment areas of Lower Austria. Approximately 1800 hours of sunshine per year are recorded in this region and favour the cultivation of many grape varieties, which are almost exclusively found in the Pannonian climate of this area.
Tip: There is a nextbike rental station directly at the train station. The bikes are available in Lower Austria from April to mid-November. You can find more information on the website https://www.nextbike.at/en/niederoesterreich/, or in the nextbike app.
