The large reception building of Gramatneusiedl station is located at the upper edge of the village of the same name in the Lower Austrian district of Bruck an der Leitha. Weatherproof waiting facilities and digital train destination displays have been installed on five platforms, all of which are barrier-free and safe to access thanks to the underpass, overpass and lift facilities. In addition, a ticket vending machine and sanitary facilities ensure a high level of travel comfort.
The spacious on-site Park & Ride facility offers parking for more than 770 cars and mopeds. Over 230 bicycles can be stored carefree in the Bike & Ride Station.
Route information
The Gramatneusiedl stop is located along the Ostbahn line.
- Regional express trains stop here on their way to Bratislava, as well as to Vienna and Wr. Neustadt.
- The trains of the rapid transit line S60 to Bruck an der Leitha, to the main station to Vienna and Wr. Neustadt are also served.
- There are also connecting buses to Vienna Oberlaa, Schwadorf near Vienna and to the train station in Fischamend.
History buffs and classic car fans take note!
The Marienthal Museum, which is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. free of charge, offers a wealth of cultural history about the workers' colonies, just a 20-minute walk from Gramatneusiedl station. A wealth of information and touching writings have been gathered and are lovingly presented, a visit is worthwhile in any case.
If you walk about half an hour further, you will reach another museum jewel of the region, the automobile and motorcycle museum. Around 150 vehicles can be admired and examined here - also by appointment as part of a private guided tour.
