Hofstatt train station

The rustic Hofstatt train station is located in the village of Hofstatt am Anzbach in the market town of Maria Anzbach. The two waiting huts at the platforms, which are connected by an underpass, offer train passengers protection from wind and weather as well as the possibility to purchase tickets for the use of the trains at the installed ticket vending machine at any time.

Route information

• The Hofstatt station is located along the Westbahn line from Linz to Vienna.
• Here, the S50 express trains to Neulengbach as well as to Vienna Westbahnhof are served every half hour.
• Not far from the station you can reach a bus stop with buses to St. Christophen, Neulengbach, Eichgraben and Pressbaum in only a few minutes on foot.

Excursion and leisure

When you get off the bus at the train station in Hofstatt, you have several options to choose from. On the one hand, you can reach the young town of Neulengbach in a good quarter of an hour on foot, with its lively infrastructure and numerous cultural offerings. Equally possible is a short tour to the Buchbergwarte with its enchanting view and culinary delights in the refuge.

Tip: Near the Buchbergwarte, the Lama Lady has created a place full of strength and relaxation with her peaceful animals - a hike with the llamas and alpacas is and will certainly remain an unforgettable event.
