Kottingbrunn train station

Kottingbrunn station is located in the middle of the market town of the same name in southeastern Lower Austria. By means of an underpass, the two structurally separate platforms at the station can be reached easily and safely. In addition to loudspeaker announcements and timetable notices, two ticket vending machines are also installed on site.

The Kottingbrunn station is located along the Südbahn line from Vienna to Payerbach-Reichenau.

In the surroundings

Already visible from the station is the beautiful moated castle of Kottingbrunn. The recently renovated walls shine in fresh splendor and house not only the municipal office but also the museum, which is well worth seeing, and the castle restaurant "Gerüchteküche". The moated castle offers a particularly atmospheric ambience during seasonal events, such as the enchanting Advent market.

Paths along the nature

The culture and nature trail uses the magnificent moated castle of Kottingbrunn as its starting point and leads along a route of about 2.3 kilometers through numerous adventure stations. But the stations of the circular walk do not only provide a lot of variety and fun for visitors who like to move and are thirsty for knowledge - many seating areas and nature oases offer the opportunity for many a relaxing break.
