The Pottendorf-Landegg station is located between the two communities that give it its name, in the industrial quarter of Lower Austria. The two tracks can be reached safely by means of an underpass to the island platform, on which there is a covered waiting area and a ticket machine. Loudspeaker announcements and timetable notices provide information on current rail operations.
The Park & Ride facility directly at the station offers almost 130 parking spaces for cars and mopeds, as well as more than 200 bicycle parking spaces.
Route information
The Pottendorf-Landegg stop serves trains along the Pottendorf line.
- Trains of the S60 rapid transit line stop on their way to Wiener Neustadt.
- Trains of the S60 to the main station in Vienna are also served.
- Buses to Landegg and Ebreichsdorf can be reached directly at the bus stop in front of the station.
Pottendorf moated castle
About a 20-minute walk from the Pottendorf-Landegg train station is the Pottendorf Castle ruins. The historic walls with the magnificent castle park are centrally located in the municipality of Pottendorf and promise an extended walk on the extensive grounds. Guided tours of the area are available upon request at the Pottendorf municipal office.
